5-Ingredient Greek Yogurt Bagel Bites with Cream Cheese Stuffing

- 1.25 cups self-rising flour see notes for making your own
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt low-fat or full-fat
- 4 oz chilled cream cheese spreadable or block cream cheese
- 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
- 2 eggs (optional) beaten until smooth in small bowl
Preheat the oven to 375℉. Stick your cream cheese in the freezer while you prep the dough (about 15 minutes)
Make the dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour with Greek yogurt. Knead or mix with spoon until dough forms. The dough should be smooth and shouldn't stick to your fingers. Add a little bit of extra flour if the dough seems too sticky.
Divide the dough: On a floured surface, divide the dough into 12 equal-sized balls (about 2tbsp of dough each). Roll each ball until smooth.
Stuff the dough: Flatten each rolled ball into a small disc in your hand or on a floured surface.
Remove the cream cheese from the freezer. Scoop about 1/2 tsp - 1 tsp of cream cheese into the center of each disc.
Fold and pinch the dough around the filling to form a sealed ball. Roll until smooth
Arrange the stuffed bagel bites evenly on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Season the dough: Brush the top of each bagel bite with egg wash (optional). Sprinkle each bagel bite with everything bagel seasoning.
Bake the bagel bites at 375℉ for 20 minutes or until tops are golden brown. Remove from oven and let them cool for 5-10 minutes.
- No self-rising flour? Make your own by mixing 1 cup of all-purpose flour + 1½ tsp baking powder + ¼ tsp salt
- Freeze the cream cheese for 15 minutes: To make it easier to cut and add the cream cheese into the dough, freeze your block or tub of cream cheese for 15 minutes
- Make them sweet: Swap the everything bagel seasoning for cinnamon sugar and add a touch of vanilla extract to the dough. You can also try stuffing with strawberry or blueberry cream cheese for a fun twist!
