Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Knife & cutting board

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries or about 2 cups whole/halved strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  • Remove the green tops from fresh strawberries. If using fresh strawberries, cut them into bite-sized chunks (as pictured) to make blending easier. If using frozen strawberries, add them whole
  • Add 1/2 cup of milk into the blender
  • Add strawberries, banana, and peanut butter into the blender
  • Blend for about 30-60 seconds, or until it's smooth and no chunks remain. You can add 1-2 tbsp of milk at a time to make it thinner if desired. If you want to make it thicker, add more strawberries or banana
  • Serve it in a cup and enjoy!

Notes

  • I personally like to chop fresh strawberries before adding to the blender to make it easier to blend. However, you can definitely just add whole, halved, or quartered strawberries if you want!
  • Frozen fruit will make your smoothie thicker and fresh fruit will make it a little more watery
  • The amount of milk you add depends on your desired consistency. I recommend starting out with 1/2 cup of milk and adding more as needed
