Perfect for kids’ lunchboxes, a last-minute work lunch, or even a picnic!
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Total Time 10 minutes mins
- 1 10-inch tortilla
- 2 tbsp cream cheese spread
- 4 slices turkey breast
- 2 slices cheddar or provolone cheese another type of cheese is fine too!
- 1/2 cup spinach leaves
Spread on cream cheese. Lay the tortilla flat and spread cream cheese evenly over the entire surface.
Add the fillings. Arrange 4 slices of turkey on top of the cream cheese layer.
Add 2 slices of cheese on top of the turkey.
Add a handful of spinach leaves in a single layer on top of the cheese slices.
Roll up the tortilla. Starting at the bottom edge, roll the tortilla tightly. Tuck in the fillings as you go.
Slice into 5 bite-sized pinwheels. Cut in the center first, then cut on the sides.
Serve and enjoy! You can also put the pinwheels in a lunchbox and stick it in the fridge for lunch the next day.
- I recommend using tortillas that are fresh or stored at room temperature. I made the mistake of refrigerating my open bag of tortillas and they dried out, became brittle, and did not roll up well
- You can wrap the roll-up in plastic wrap, and refrigerate it for 20 minutes before slicing into pieces. This will make them easier to cut
- These roll-ups are great for meal prep! Make them the night before and store it inside an air-tight lunchbox or bento box for the next day or to bring to a party
