All About Me!

Hi! I’m Dr. Nikita – but please, just call me Nikita!

I’m the blogger behind The Tiny Spork. I’m a pediatrician by day, food blogger by nights & weekends! πŸ™‚

As someone who works 40+ hours per week, I don’t have the time (or energy!) to cook fancy meals most days. In fact, I spent many years getting takeout for most meals which led to a crazy amount of weight gain and many health problems.

Over the past few years, I’ve been focusing on making simple, easy, and healthy-ish meals using just a few ingredients. This blog is my way of sharing those easy recipes with busy parents and families who may be in the same boat as me.

I’m not an expert cook by any means, but I do love experimenting in the kitchen. Especially with 5-ingredient recipes!

I also believe that cooking at home shouldn’t be expensive, which is why I focus on making affordable recipes, especially as grocery prices skyrocket.

What you’ll find on The Tiny Spork:

πŸ₯• Healthy recipes using 5 ingredients or less

πŸ₯£ Meal plans that fit into your busy schedule

πŸ₯¦ Quick breakfasts, lunchbox ideas, healthy snacks, & kid-friendly dinners

🧺 Kitchen organization hacks

πŸ›’ Grocery shopping tips to save money
