As someone who works 40+ hours per week, I don’t have the time (or energy!) to cook elaborate meals most days of the week. In fact, I spent many years getting takeout and eating junk food for most meals, which led to a crazy amount of weight gain and many health problems.

Over the past few years, I’ve been focusing on making simple, easy, and healthy-ish meals using just a few ingredients. It’s helped me to eat better, cut down on food waste, and save a lot of money on grocery bills!

This blog is my way of sharing easy recipes with busy parents and families who just need simple, approachable recipes after a long day. All of my recipes are beginner-friendly and perfect for those new to cooking!
