We finally made it through the winter blues to April, which is the first full month of spring! In this post, I’m sharing my free printable April bucket list + bingo card to help you get into the spring mood!
The days are also longer and it’s easier to spend time outside even after busy days at work. I love being able to drive home with the sun still out 🤣
But April can also be a pretty rainy month, so there’s plenty of indoor activities on this bucket list for you to do on cozy rainy days!
There’s also some fun holidays to look forward to – Easter and Passover are the biggest ones, but there’s also April Fools Day and Earth Day which deserve celebrating as well!
I love celebrating the seasons & holidays, and making a monthly bucket list helps me live each month with intention and do all the simple, cozy, seasonal activities to relax and enjoy life even after the 9-5 grind.
If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place! You can use this bucket list to plan a fun activity to do after a long day at work, on Friday night, or the weekend. There’s no pressure – do as much or as little as you like! ☺️
I even have a FREE printable bucket list that you can print out or use on your phone! To make things extra fun, I also made a printable bingo card that you can turn into a game or use as an activity advent calendar!

🐣 Seasonal & Holiday Fun
1. Set up a mini Easter egg hunt
I used to love Easter egg hunts as a kid! Setting up a little Easter egg hunt in your backyard is a great Sunday afternoon activity to keep the little ones busy. You can even make an adult-themed egg hunt to switch things up!
2. Buy a bouquet of tulips or daffodils
Spring means that tulips and daffodils are finally starting to bloom! Yellow flowers are my personal favorite because they’re so sunny, happy, and brighten up any space. Pick some up at a local florist, farmers market, or Trader Joe’s.
3. Celebrate April Fool’s Day
I’m not the biggest prankster out there, but it’s still fun to do something silly or goofy on this day! Even watching a comedy movie, an episode of your favorite sitcom, or sharing funny memes with friends can be fun. No judgement if you decide to play some (harmless) pranks on your friends! 🤣
4. Do something green for Earth Day
There’s so many ways to go green – picking up litter on your morning walk, setting up a composting bin, or planting some flowers in your yard or a community space. You even check if there are any neighborhood events to help clean up your community. Even small swaps like using reusable bags instead of plastic ones can make a big difference!
5. Set up your patio or balcony
The warmer weather means that it’s time to refresh your patio or balcony! I love adding colorful cushions to my patio furniture, string lights, and lots of plants to make the space feel warm and inviting. It’s also my favorite place to enjoy my morning coffee or do some afternoon reading.
6. Cozy up indoors on a rainy day
April can definitely be a very rainy month! Spend a rainy afternoon by slowing down & cozying up with a spring candle, cup of tea, and a good book. You can also work on a spring craft, bake something yummy, or just catch up on some journaling!

Speaking of spring produce, how about picking some carrots and making a yummy batch of homemade carrot cupcakes?! Here’s an easy carrot cake cupcake recipe made with just a few ingredients.
9. Host an Easter brunch
Whether you’re having a large party or just a small one, it’s a nice way to bring friends & family together for a spring gathering. Make classics like quiche, deviled eggs, pancakes, and spring salads. It’s also fun to decorate your dining table with pastel decor, flowers, and decorated Easter eggs!
10. Cook matzo ball soup
If you’ve never had matzo ball soup, you have to try it this year! It’s a light comforting soup that’s traditionally served for Passover, but it’s one of my favorite soups to make during the spring. Most recipes require a good number of ingredients and steps, but here’s a simple matzo ball soup recipe made with just 8 ingredients!
11. Make a spring smoothie
Pick up some fresh fruits at the farmer’s market and whip up a smoothie! It’s one of my favorite ways to sneak fruit into my diet. I usually make this 4-ingredient strawberry banana peanut butter smoothie on repeat, but here are 15 high protein smoothie recipes that are perfect for both kids and adults (and they all use 5 ingredients or less)!
12. Have an afternoon tea party

Herbs are generally pretty easy to grow & maintain, plus they’re perfect for spring & summer recipes!

You can also take a walk through your neighborhood, park, or local botanical garden to check out all the spring flowers in bloom.

22. Have a spring picnic
This is one of my favorite activities during the spring and summer months. I even have an old fashioned wicker basket!
