Memorial Day is right around the corner, meaning that it’s almost the unofficial start of summer!
I know, I know summer doesn’t actually start until the end of June but Memorial Day really does feel like the kickoff to summer. Anyone else feel the same way?!
Every Memorial Day & July 4th, my family has a small gathering where we fire up the BBQ, my dad makes his famous tandoori chicken, my mom takes care of the sides (my favorite!), and I’m usually in charge of making the dessert.
Usually I get lazy and just buy a fruit platter, but this year I thought I’d up my game and try making a red, white, and blue dessert to make things a bit more festive! But your girl is busyyy these days, and doesn’t have time to make anything mega fancy…which is what inspired this roundup.
I honestly never realized how many easy patriotic dessert recipes there are out there on the Internet.
I thought I’d only be able to find like 10 recipes, but nope….I was able to round up 22 easy Memorial Day and July 4th dessert recipes that are all made with 5 ingredients or less!
So many of these recipes are no-bake, no-cook, and perfect for kids & teens to help out with. There’s also a bunch of recipes in this roundup that are perfect for beginners too!
I hope you guys find some inspiration in this roundup, and have a wonderful Memorial Day and Fourth of July cebration this year!
