Summer’s almost here! I can’t believe we’re already halfway through April…the year is just flying on by. But I’m so excited for warm weather, beach days, and farmer’s markets ahead!

While fall is all about hearty crockpot dinners and soups, the summer is when I find myself making light and refreshing meals that don’t require a lot of cooking. The last thing I want to do is sweat over the stove when it’s 90 degrees out!

Summer is also a great time to take advantage of all the yummy produce from the farmer’s markets!

In this roundup, I’m sharing 20 easy lunch recipes for kids that you can make with 5 ingredients or less! They’re perfect for feeding the little ones while they’re home for summer break, and many of them incorporate fruits and veggies in fun ways too!

Please note that most of these recipes are for preschool-aged kids and up, but I think they work just as well for teens or even picky adults! You could adapt some of these recipes for toddlers, but just be careful and make sure everything is soft and doesn’t contain any choking hazards.
